We offer a variety of options for protective wraps.
During transportation or shipping, your cable reels are exposed to the elements and conditions that can result in scraping, tearing, and puncturing. If you leave your cable exposed during shipping and transportation, it could end up arriving at the jobsite damaged, delaying the ensuing project and leaving you with unexpected costs to fix or replace the damaged cable.
Instead of taking this risk, cover your cable reels in protective wraps prior to transport. At L-S Industries, we carry a variety of different protective wraps that can provide durable, effective protection to your cable reels. Some of the options we offer for protective wraps include single-face plastic, solid HDPE plastic, double-face plastic, heat-scored cableguard, cableguard with foam, and exportguard with foam.
Our protective wraps not only come in a variety of material options, but they are also available in custom sizes. If you are unsure about which type of protective wrap to purchase for your cabling, let us know. We can provide expert advice and guidance to ensure the protective wraps you purchase complement your cable packaging and protection needs.
We are here to answer any questions you have about protective wraps and help you make an informed decision regarding your upcoming order. To learn more about our protective wraps or to get help placing your next order, get in touch with us today.

Our protective wraps can help you protect your cable against the effects of transportation, rough handling, water, oil, and dust. If you have questions about our protective wraps before you place an order, start here to get answers to some of the common questions we receive about this type of product.
Do your protective wraps come in custom sizes?
What level of puncture resistance do your wraps provide?
What color options do you offer?
Do you offer different levels of thickness?
No, plastic corrugated rolls are primarily 4mm thick. The difference is in the weight of the material. For example, single-face plastic can be run the lightest, at 110lbs per manufactured square foot. Our double-face material is run at 160lbs per manufactured square foot, and our heavy-weight EXPORTGUARD is run at 275lbs per manufactured square foot. We do have the ability to laminate a closed-cell foam, in a variety of thicknesses, to the backside of any of these protective wraps to increase the protection rating and add cushion.
