Waterjet Bricks

Give your waterjet cutting setup a surface built to handle the job.

Anyone working with a waterjet knows that what sits underneath the material matters. Water, debris, and the force of the jet must all be directed somewhere once the cut is made. Waterjet bricks give you a practical surface for the job, supporting the material being cut while helping manage what happens underneath it. They can be used with everything from metal, glass, and stone to plastic, foam, fabric, and wood.

Waterjet Bricks

Splash back is one reason to consider them. Instead of water and debris coming straight back toward the material, the brick helps absorb and disperse some of that energy. This can help protect the workpiece while also cutting down on noise. Waterjet bricks can be used on both sides as well. When one side has taken its share of wear, simply flip the brick over and continue using it.

We offer these products at L-S Industries in heavyweight corrugated HDPE plastic, a material that won’t corrode in a wet cutting environment. Standard bricks are 4 inches high, 6 inches wide, and 48 inches long, though other lengths are available. You can choose from 250-pound or 300-pound options, as well as natural white or black. They’re made in the USA using 50% recycled material, and the plastic can be recycled when you’re finished with it.
