All About Our Packaging Materials
When it comes to protecting your products during shipping, the materials used to package them are very important. At L-S Industries, we convert and fabricate a wide range of different materials to fit all of your industrial packaging and protection needs.
Corrugated Plastic
Corrugated plastic is made up of two plastic layers and a ribbed center layer. Useful for many things like postal totes, industrial packaging, recycling bins, and tree guards, this packaging material can be applied to almost any industry. L-S Industries offers several different types of corrugated plastic in both sheets and rolls, including: polypropylene profile board, polyethylene single face, and polyethylene double face.
Corrugated Kraft
Corrugated kraft is very similar to corrugated plastic – it’s made up of two paper layers and a ribbed center layer. Corrugated kraft is often converted into boxes for shipping, but we also specialize in converting kraft into larger bins and other packaging products. We offer corrugated kraft as well as other paper products like chipboard, linerboard, and fiberboard in single-face rolls and sheets.
Closed-Cell Foam
Closed-cell foam is strong, resilient, and ideal for packaging products that require a large amount of shock absorbency. This foam also aids in vibration dampening, insulation, barrier or buoyancy, and general product cushioning. Closed-cell foam is ideal for those looking for lightweight protection at a reasonable cost and is available in both rolls and sheets.
Spunbond, Brushed Nylon, Tyvek, Evolon and Other “Class A” Protective Materials
Class A protective materials are ideal when transporting cosmetically sensitive surfaces such as painted parts, chrome parts, stipple finishes, or any other surface that is susceptible to abrasion from regular packaging materials. Protective fabrics like Tyvek or Evolon are laminated to a rigid substance for shape, usually plastic corrugated board, and delivered to meet your cosmetic packaging needs.
XF Film
XF film is a strong, co-extruded, cross-laminated film that can be applied to a variety of different uses. It’s much more tear-resistant when compared to other films, such as biaxially oriented film. Try XF film for your next industrial bag, form-fill-and-seal (FFS), membrane film, liner under building, greenhouse film, or rust protective packaging. XF film can be converted by sealing, gluing, laminating, printing, coating, die-cutting, or sewing in order to fit any industrial or consumer needs.
